Doubleclick-Ad Exchange 2.0

The much awaited Doubleclick Ad exchange 2.0 has been released recently. The vital developments are

  1. Integration with Google AdWords and AdSense

  2. Easy to use streamlined UI

  3. A new real-time bidding system

I strongly feel, the new feature which is going to drive the ad exchange is the “Real Time Bidding”, where the auction of the inventories is more dynamic(viz) Ad Exchange provides sellers (publishers) a yield management solution. Leveraging real-time technology across the largest pool of buyers, sellers have the opportunity to capture additional revenue and increase overall yield on their inventory, across multiple buyers while maintaining complete control.DoubleClick’s proprietary Dynamic Allocation system sells inventory through the channel that pays the highest price, in real time.

Also we experience an age of real time, as many ad exchanges started to operate “Real Time Bidding” system and really betting big on this.As everybody going Gong-ho about Real Time bidding, this increases my curiosity as to how beneficial it is really as it sounds.I am  planning to have something covered exclusively on real time bidding in my next article.
